Have You ever wanted to
design your own garment?
 

The MLT and Hokonui Fashion Design Awards have teamed up to give secondary students who go to
Gore High, Menzies College, Blue Mountain College and St Peters College the opportunity to apply.

 

The MLT Young Designer Mentor Program includes:

 

Supporting a student with their design ideas, starting from initial concept through to a finished garment

 

A financial contribution towards the materials and costs of creating a garment

 

Providing a mentor to give advice and help with the tricky bits along the way

 

A behind the scenes experience at the 2024 MLT Hokonui Fashion Design Awards
